Competency/Behaviour
Definition
We work with you to identify
and define generic competencies and indicators for the
organisation or more specific behaviours for certain job
sets. We may do this through a programme of job shadowing,
focus groups and broader techniques.
We aim to produce pragmatic and usable indicators. Candidate
Sifting/Initial Selection
We can design initial screening processes and can also take the stress out of the initial sifting processes for you. We can screen on line, over the phone or, of course, by paper CVs. We can screen on the basis of factual, experience or competency based criteria. We have particularly strong experience of volume screening for graduates and customer service roles both on-line and telephone based.
Psychometric Testing; Personality
Profiling
We can: advise on appropriate
tests; administer and mark them; produce a range of
reports as appropriate. As independent and qualified
users of a wide range of occupational tests we have
access to a broad battery of ability tests and personality
questionnaires, both paper-based and on-line. Our criterion
here is 'the right test for the need' and we will access
the appropriate publisher accordingly.
Tele-screening
We can carry out a range of tele-screening work for you – both factual and competency based. This is particularly useful when recruiting to customer service roles or for volume recruitment exercises.
Structured Interviewing
Here we
work with a skills or competency set to design structured
and consistent interview scripts/questions; deliver
interviewing on either a telephone or face-to-face
basis, producing objective ratings and reports on candidates;
train your own team to deliver these services.
Assessment Centres
We can provide:
full centre design; design of bespoke assessment exercises;
access to, delivery and feedback of a wide range of
off-the-shelf test/exercises; structured interviewing;
fully experienced WorkLife assessors; assessor
training; candidate feedback; full centre management
including integration ('wash-up'); candidate correspondence;
design and delivery of company presentations and materials.
We also provide full written reports on each candidate.
We are extremely experienced in this area and have designed and managed assessment centres at all levels across a wide number of sectors.
Candidate Managment
We can support at every stage of a campaign, from processing applications and dealing with enquires, to sending out candidate packs and co-ordinating assessors, to co-ordinating interview and assessment event schedules.
