
WorkLife offer three levels of assessment centre design. All offer:
- Rigour and objectivity
- Exercises suitable for the role and its competencies
Entry Level
This is an excellent option for a wide range of roles where price and time are issues
- 2 pre-published exercises with some tailoring to suit the company/position. All exercises would have validity for the role
- Plus 1 bespoke interview or a bespoke candidate presentation (competency based, written specifically to suit the organisation and the position)
- Exercise and competency matrix; rating scales
- Competencies and indicators developed from the companies existing definitions or based on the SHL universal competency framework
- Tailored Assessor Report forms for each of the exercises with competency indicators tailored for each exercise, providing clear guidelines and parameters for marking
- A master schedule for the centre
Turnaround: brief to design – approx 2-3 weeks
Tailored Level
Again a cost effective option. Although pre-published exercises form the core of the centre these would be tailored where appropriate to suit the client’s competencies and bespoke assessor measurements/report forms would be designed.
- 3 ‘pre-published’ exercises with some tailoring to suit the company/position. All exercises would have validity for the role
- Plus 1 bespoke interview or a bespoke candidate presentation (competency based written specifically to suit the organisation and the position)
- Competencies and indicators developed as appropriate for the centre
- Exercise and competency matrix; rating scales
- Tailored Assessor Report forms for each of the exercises with competency indicators tailored for each exercise, providing clear guidelines and parameters for marking
- Tailored and company branded paperwork:
- Participant instructions
- Assessor guide
- Admin instructions
- Integration sheet
- Candidate matrix sheets
- Master, assessor and candidate schedules
Turnaround: brief to design – approx 3-6 weeks
Bespoke Level
Here the exercises are produced specifically for your organisation. They would reflect the actual roles as they work within your company. These exercises would not be accessible to other clients and would be available to the client company for future usage.
- 3-4 new, bespoke exercises; complete face validity for the company and the position
- Competencies and indicators developed as appropriate for the centre
- Exercise and competency matrix; rating scales
- Bespoke Assessor Report forms for each of the exercises with competency indicators tailored for each exercise, providing clear guidelines and parameters for marking
- Bespoke and company branded paperwork:
- Participant instructions
- Assessor guide
- Admin instructions
- Integration sheet
- Candidate matrix sheets
- Master, assessor and candidate schedules
Turnaround: brief to design – approx 6-12 weeks
